jcksphtshmmmm, i dunno... his stuff... no thought to context. it's just stuck up anywhere...
street art / graf / things on walls / whatever: it needs to play with the environment. cities aren't just blank walls like galleries. i saw this when i was in NY recently, and it's happening in london a lot now: people just painting / making whatever at home then going out and sticking it up wherever.
needs to be more thought on why you're putting something somewhere, what the area / wall / door / garbage can adds to what you're adding to the city. cheesy example, but: www.flickr.com/photos/nolifebeforecoffee/124659356/
jakedobkinwhat could be better context for a piece about a hipster getting drunk and throwing up than a wall in williamsburg two blocks from the lorimer street stop?
Gaia Artyeah this is amazing. i mean all of his work is hand painted. this is no bull shit
shabsoasisThe hard work put into this is the thought & the context. People are expressing their own sense of humor now, and that's very important for what we all need these days. To laugh and be joyful. I love this. And they take so much time making it knowing it'll likely be destroyed so soon..... just to share with us.
