Gods Gift to WomenPersonally, i hate a whole bunch of tiny pieces on a big surface- its seems clip-arty. I love seeing tons of stickers on trash cans and signs and stuff but with a big door like this id like to see something bigger, or something other than a rectangle. Diversify people!
miserloujonesYeah! Why have large colorful murals when you can have black and white copies of the same things over and over and over and over and over..
No. 3 KillerStreet artists shouldn't diss burners like these. Or any traditional graff, really...
jakedobkinplease-- LA graffiti is on three sides of the building, and on the building across the alley. and on at least five other buildings in the area. this was one of maybe two quality streetart spots downtown-- and i think LA graf can afford to leave it for the streetartists.
OPHOTNLA is getting rid of the lines between the "two." If you get up, then u are a vandal. Everything else belongs in a gallery.
No. 3 KillerThe pieces here took much more time and risk than the wheatpastes that had dissed the earlier graffiti. Why shouldn't they get the spot? Besides, as the others have already pointed out, it's not like there's a competition between the two.
Subhumanoidthere should be a group for that wall, everytime i see it its different!
sevensixfiveThis is an interesting argument. I wanna hear somebody try and define 'traditional' and 'street art'. Is it just all about the wheatpaste vs. the spraycan, or is there some kinda implication about 'high' and 'low'?
Why set up the opposition in the first place? Why start a fight?
ascord04 Nice one !! -- Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)
