RIP SMASH aka T-MAC.
1981-2013Had a great time painting this memorial mural that was organized by Smash’s closest friend’s and family. Special thanks to KY for the idea and navigating all the logistics. Met some solid folks with some true ambition to help a struggling area rise up as well as pay respects.
Context: The house on the left is 2100 Hollins St, the house that Smash lived when he was young (now demolished). The house on the right was his last residence, 1900 Fredrick Avenue, which is on the same block as the mural. The tattoos below his eyes are of a spade and a “BH” standing for the intersection of W.Baltimore Street and Hilton Street which is where he hung out. Above his left eye is the text “Love is Pain”.

Hi Streetsy!
This is part of my work at a festival in a suburb of Caracas, Venezuela, called San Agustin del Sur, with the intention to give color to the facades of the houses of the people living in that area!
My intention was to create a mural that besides being decorative had a playful, where children can play!

“Syrian Pietà”
This is my version of the classic sculpture of Michelangelo; “Pietà” . In this case i replaced the body of Christ, god´s son, for a dead kid. Its my form of commemorate and denounce the massacre that is taking place in Syria, where more than 60000 people died since the conflict started. Silence is the worst form of complicity. -
